FAQ
Payment
Why is my total in Indonesian rupiah?
We are an Indonesian company, and Indonesian law requires us to charge in rupiah. Your card works exactly as it always does: you pay in IDR, and your bank converts it to your own currency at their rate. The figure you saw in dollars on the product page is a guide, not the charge.
Which cards do you take?
Visa and Mastercard, plus local Indonesian methods for customers on the island. Payment is handled by our payment provider — we never see your card number.
My payment was declined. What now?
This is almost always your bank blocking an unfamiliar foreign charge, not a problem with the order. Approve the payment in your banking app, or call your bank and tell them you are buying from a shop in Indonesia, then try again. If it still fails, write to us and we will sort it out with you.
Will my bank charge me extra?
Some banks add a foreign transaction fee, usually 1-3%. That fee is your bank's, not ours, and we do not receive any part of it.
Delivery
Where do you ship from?
Bali, Indonesia. Every parcel is packed by us and handed to the carrier here.
How long does it take?
We pack in 1-3 working days. After that: 1-2 days on Bali, 2-5 days elsewhere in Indonesia, 3-8 days for the rest of the world by DHL Express. You get a tracking number when the parcel leaves.
Do I have to pay customs duties?
Outside Indonesia, yes. Import duties and taxes are set by your government and collected by the carrier before delivery. They are not included in the price. For the United States expect roughly 26-42% of the item value on clothing; for the European Union, VAT plus a €3 flat duty per item; Australia charges nothing under A$1,000. We do not ship to the United Kingdom at the moment.
We would rather tell you this before you order than surprise you at the door.
Do you deliver on Bali?
Yes, free, usually next day.
Sizes and fit
How do I choose a size?
Every product page has measurements. Compare them with a piece you already own and like, rather than guessing from a label — sizing differs between brands more than anyone admits. Our full chart is on the Size guide.
What does OS mean?
One size. It is cut to work across a range of body types, and the page tells you which.
Between two sizes?
For fitted pieces, take the smaller one — our fabrics have stretch. For oversized pieces, take your usual size; they are already cut wide.
Returns
Can I return something?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, unworn and with tags on. Return shipping is yours to pay unless the piece is faulty. Swimwear and underwear cannot be returned once the hygiene seal is removed.
Can I exchange for another size?
Yes, subject to stock. You send it back, we send the replacement out at our cost.
The pieces
Is it really handmade?
Yes. Cut and finished by hand in Bali, in small runs. That is why two pieces of the same style can differ slightly in shade or texture.
Will this colour come back?
Often not. We work with what the yarn and fabric runs give us. If a colour is showing as available, that is what exists.
Do you make men's pieces?
RESONANCE is unisex. The Men section holds the pieces cut to work on anyone — tees, hoodies, joggers, shorts.
